Special Resources: Home

Here are some digital and electronic resources to aid in distance learning while access to the library is closed. Some are always open, free resources; some have been opened to the public by publishers during the coronavirus pandemic.

Welcome! Here is a collection of curated links to resources available during this time of limited access to the physical library.

Included are links to free and open-access resources, as well as links to items in our subscription databases. Some of the open-access resources are always available, but have expanded access for the spring of 2020. Some resources that are usually by subscription only have made certain collections free for everyone to access for several weeks. And some of the subscription databases have dropped limits on the number of users a book or article can have at the same time in an effort to provide access to materials to more students and faculty.

If you are looking for a particular book or article and cannot find it in any of these collections, please use the contact information on the right of this page ,and we will do our best to find it for you.

Be sure to check out the Other Resources tab for free access to streaming services to view films, theatre, and concerts.

As always, please contact us with any questions or suggestions!
