Articles

We offer access to over 1,000 databases through our partnership with Northwestern University Libraries. Also, more than 14,000 journal titles are available to Northwestern University-affiliated libraries. While most are integrated into USearch, our online catalog, you may also have the option to directly search the articles through specific databases or journals. Explore more by checking out the resources below.

Dissertations & Theses

While most of the new dissertations and theses are available online, some older dissertations and theses are only available in print. You can discover both through USearch, our online catalog. The Styberg Library house pre-2008 dissertations from Garrett and its precursor institutions, as well as Seabury Western Theological Seminary. To access post-2008 dissertations, you will need to have access to ProQuest Dissertations & Theses Global. To learn more about how to find dissertations and theses, please check out the resources listed below.

Religion Data & Statistics

As part of their Doctor of Ministry research projects or dissertations, students may often need to search for demographic, congregational, institutional, or governmental data or statistics. Here, you will find a curated list of websites or other related online resources that provide statistical information about religion, church, and ministry.
