Archives & Special Collections

The Archives at the Styberg Library encompass the Garrett Institutional Archives, which includes the archives of its predecessor institutions, and the Northern Illinois Conference (NIC) Archives. Additionally, the Special Collections feature a collection of rare Bibles and the Methodist Collection. Within these collections, you will discover rare Bibles, including first editions, books printed before 1800, historically significant works, materials related to John and Charles Wesley and the early history of Methodism, as well as various archaeological items.
