This guide provides a library research and writing guide for MTS degree students at Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary.

Description

The Master of Theological Studies (MTS) is a two-year degree program specializing in a chosen area of research -- Old Testament, New Testament, history of Christianity, theology & ethics, liturgy, and religion, personality & culture. The MTS provides the background for preparation for the doctoral study of religion and requires students to write an MTS thesis after the coursework.
