About This Guide

This guide details the ways that you can submit requests through USearch. Curbside pickup, scan, and ILL requests can all be submitted directly through links and forms within USearch or on the library's website. You will need to log in to your library account to see these options and submit requests through USearch. To learn how to do this, check out the tabs above. First, consult the "Where to Begin" tab, and then, check out the "How to Request" tab.

Physical vs. Electronic Resources

You can request physical resources from the Styberg and Northwestern Libraries. If physical materials are available and circulate, you can request them for curbside pickup. If you only want a chapter or article, or if the item does not circulate (e.g., reserve and reference books), you can request a scan. If the item is currently checked out and is not on reserve, you can request an interlibrary loan copy. These options are detailed on the "How to Request" tab.

You can view and access electronic resources directly with your NetID or Garrett ID. If you are interested in learning more about finding online resources through USearch, check out these guides.
